1. RTL-1220 Real Time Logger Software

This software collects data in "real-time" (as it happens) from the ECM-1220.H to display, analyse and record a multitude of valuable information. The records may be saved in a format which makes it easy to import by other programs such as Excel®. more..

 Determining the operating power of a specific load via the Electrical Panel:

This software feature uses an innovative method of determining the power required for powering any load in the residence when the ECM-1220.H is connected to the main service panel. This "load signature" is very useful for analysis of load cycling (not yet implemented in this software version).

The example below is for detecting a load cycled ON then OFF, although this utility may be used to detect the opposite states.

Step 1:

 Determine a threshold power value.

Step 2:

 Click the "Start" button to begin the load detection process.
Step 3:
 The load to be detected is manually cycled ON. The software detects the load.

Step 4:

After a few seconds the load is manually turned OFF and the software detects the drop..

Step 5:

 The software displays all of the information pertaining to the cycled load and generates a graph.

2. DL-1220 Download Software

The DL-1220 Download Software is used to retrieved the information from the data logger portion of the ECM-1220.H. Once downloaded, the file is saved and the records are displayed and graphed.
