We are monitoring a total of ten homes, and planned on using a remote server to run the engine G software and download all of the data. We have two ECM 1240's working when set up on site, but can't seem to get the remote serve to communicate with the Etherbee or ECM 1240's. We are using "Log me in" to remotely control the server from a laptop. Any advice on how to make this work would be much appreciated.

It is important to open the firewall port you are using. This needs to be done in your internet router as well as you Windows firewall and any other firewall that may exist, such as Mcafee, Norton, etc.

If you are still experiencing problems, you may try using port 80.
