Questions on my new install

So I've been working on the installation and configuration of my new GEM system and have run into a couple of questions :-)

1) I've read that when monitoring a single channel, using a Micro-50 for example, that the orientation should't matter. However, I'm seeing a difference when I reverse the leads. One one circuit I was seeing ~26W, but when I switched the white & black it dropped down to ~18W. Is there any explanation for this?

2) I'd like to combine three 240V circuits used for my heat pump system into a single channel. The three circuits are as follows:

Heat Pump Outdoor Unit (uses neutral) with 2x Micro-50s installed
Air Handler (no neutral) with 1x Micro-50 on one leg
Aux Resistive Coil (no neutral) with 1x Micro-50 on one leg

I think I know the answer to this, but is there any clever way to double the AH and coil circuits and combine them with the two legs of the heat pump all in one channel? Or should I just use 2x more Micro-50s on the AH and coil and put all 6 in parallel?

3) My system is split between two 150A subpanels. When I installed the Split-200s I put them all in the same direction (arrow is K->L for all four). I'd like to combine them into one channel. Is this the correct wiring:

CT1 = Panel 1, Line 1; CT2 = Panel 1, Line 2; CT3 = Panel 2, Line 1; CT4 = Panel 2, Line 2

Pin 1 <--Blk--CT1--Wh--> <--Wh--CT2--Blk--> Pin 2
Pin 3 <--Blk--CT3--Wh--> <--Wh--CT4--Blk--> Pin 4

or is it better to:

Pin 1 <--Blk--CT1--Wh--> <--Wh--CT2--Blk--> <--Blk--CT3--Wh--> <--Wh--CT4--Blk--> Pin 4

Thanks in advance!

Hi Brultech Sales/Support:

Greetings !

I have send this query earlier from 'brultech.com' and there was no response. So, I am reposting my system planning query.

I am considering installing Energy monitoring system by BrulTech at my home.
My house has a detached ADU with separate Power and Utilities that are fed from the main house.

My requirements are:

- Onsite Energy monitoring of Main House and ADU
- Circuit level monitoring of Split Phase 110V AC ( Standard USA power)
- Billing Reports for all Utilities(GAS/Water/Electricity) for ADU
- Main House has 90+ Circuits
- ADU has 20+ Circuits

I am looking for a Systems & Package which will meet the above requirements.

Appreciate your guidance and help in choosing a right system and components.

Thanks !!

I am a newbie to GEM& Dashbox. How do we see the water meter pulse count on the Dashboard ?
Currently, I see only Channel1-32. No pulse counters or temperature information.

Thanks !

In Settings->Energy Monitors click the "DashBox Settings" button.

Scroll to the bottom of the channel listing. You should be able to unhide the pulse counters there.
