This is a new one for me (and Google, apparently...)
Bringing up the Dashbox, it says only "Page is loading..."
No spinning, not activity.
Status LED is green.
Last time I logged in was 8/13 and it all looked normal there with current data.
I rebooted it with no improvement.
Any clues?

Well, NVM then. 
About a half hour after rebooting, it's back to its normal self.

Yeah, I know. Dead thread, but I wanted to post that I had this same issue today and came back to this thread. All I did was close all Chrome instances, and everything came back to life.
